I'm lazy and I need to clean my room because my boyfriend is moving in and my room is like a whirling vortex of pure chaos and lazy-arseness. In the meantime I'm working on various projects and I'd like a little photoshop practise. If you'd like your face zombified or otherwise mutilated, send me a good photo. I'm not charging anything but if it turns out nicely I'd like your permission to post the picture on dA. chances are it won't resemble you much when I'm done.

This has been the happiest year of my life. I got my new laptop, I'm making money and I've had such wonderful experiences in the past eleven months and 24 days. The boy I fell in love with is now my boyfriend and he's the greatest.

I did take a pattern/dressmaking course this year but I couldn't complete it due to time constraints and travel restrictions. - i.e I work too much and I don't have my license yet. This year I saw Megadeth, In Flames, Children of Bodom, Emilie Autumn and Nine Inch Nails, and they all kicked ass, even though my seats at NIN kinda sucked.

Even though I haven't submitted much of anything this year I do plan on keeping this account active. I'm currently working on a new novel and rewriting old ideas. I'd like to comeplete more artwork in the new year and seriously focus on my writing... which may be difficult once I start culinary school.

Uhh... yeah! No new submissions for a while. My computer's broke and has been for some time. I've been working a lot and haven't had much spare time to start/complete anything new. I do plan on taking art more seriously this year, practicing and studying it more and getting into new things. I'd like to get into some real portraiture, more photomanipulation and hopefully start to seriously develop my own comic style and skill. Migrating away from this account might be on my to-do list too because after five years the name has gotten pretty silly(why can't dA let us change the names?!)

Seeing as how my paypal's working now I might end up holding contests in the future (depends on how much I actually progress) with subs and prints 'n stuff as prizes.

I recently started to clear out some old deviations (the real crap ones) and will probably continue to do so. Next month I should be getting my new laptop and eventually a tablet and a more regular work schedule. I am really looking forward to this year!

and I bloody hate colds

I have officially been on dA for 4 years! Whooooo!

What I failed to notice before (or probably did notice, just forgot) is that I joined dA on my birthday, too! Yay for June 1st!

...and the day after that was ~Sharmi 's birthday! So, hurrah for the weekend!

I saw PoTC3 this weekend and I must say, it was better than I expected it to be. I was disappointed that Chow Yun-Fat's character (Sao Feng)died so soon, he was pretty cool, AND NOOOOO, NOT NORRINGTON! AAAUUUUGH! What he did was pretty heroic, but STILL! And that part where Calypso grows giant after being released? Okay, I thought that was kind of stupid.

..unfortunately I missed the last 20 minutes of the movie because I had to high-tail it to work. BUT! I'm going to take my little sister to see it tomorrow night so yay!

As soon as I get my procrastinating ass in gear I'm going to be submitting a bunch of drawings and crap, and probably some stuff over in my (empty) Y!Gallery account. (yay for pr0n!)

Also, Fan Expo '07 will be taking place in the Tdot August 24-26 and I'm totally freaking going... even though my cousin's wedding is on the 25th. I SHALL PREVAIL!

I mean, dude, I am NOT missing George A Romero, Adam West and Chiho Saito.
